Horses and the Centennial State
The West was won on horseback, and horses have played a crucial role in Colorado's rich history. Today, cowboy culture remains an important component of life in Colorado, but English riding has taken hold here as well. Colorado has become an important center for hunter/jumper, dressage, and eventing in addition to western riding, reining, and rodeo.
Camping with Horses
Horses allow us to access the unspoiled beauty of remote wilderness and connect with nature in a unique way. This incredible experience brings us together with our horses, one another, and the nature we traverse.
Organized camping trips allow you to bring your horse, choose from a variety of accommodation styles, explore new trails and meet new equestrian friends, brought together by a passion for horses, adventure, and beautiful wild places.
What kind of horse camping is right for you? Here is some basic information on different types and ways to camp with horses.
“These trips are a great way to decompress and just enjoy. Adrienne and her team take care of everything and I felt great afterwards, especially because the guided trail rides were relaxing and beautiful and not having to cook or clean but still eat great food, was extra nice. I’ll definitely go again with Adrienne!”
